Dresses: H&M
I’ve always been a fan of dresses- colorful, neutral, long, short. What’s not to love? My only dilemma is that I sometimes find it difficult to decide among all the different styles. Now that I live close to the mall, my trips to H&M are more frequent but I still like to take my time deciding what to take home. When it comes to dresses, what do you prefer? Fitted or flowy?

It never fails. With warmer temps, the urge to wear vibrant colors and deeper hues is undeniable. Just as pastels embody the essence of spring, bold & saturated colors suit the sultry vibe of summertime. I’m really digging these bold shades of Motives nail polish and plan to have them in heavy rotation throughout the coming months. This polish does what a premium nail lacquer should do. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been on a mission to try out various shades of Motives nail polish – a fun task, and I’ve certainly risen to meet the challenge. While I represent the line & am slightly partial, I’ve come to love the collection. And not just because of the vibrant, saturated colors, but also because the entire line is free of formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate, toxic chemicals found in most commercially available nail lacquers. I’ve found Motives nail polish to be long wearing, even without a base coat, and the high shine finish eliminates the need for a top coat. You can view all available colors here.

One of my favorite things about Florida is that no matter the season, there are usually a couple species of flowers that are flourishing. That being said, It’s no coincidence that I’m drawn to florals. Aside from the fact that there is something inherently celebratory about even the tiniest blossom, I grew up with a dad who has a green thumb, to put it lightly. From an early age I was able to identify hibiscus, impatiens, gardenia, and plenty of others. The months I spent working at a large plant nursery further deepened my admiration of all things that bloom. Apartment living doesn’t exactly allow me the space to grow the flower garden of my dreams, but for now I can at least wear floral prints to my heart’s content.
